Steve Raszka has earned his place onstage the long way: more than 20 years of experience, thousands of shows, and a career built through regional touring, headline performances, and the daily work of connecting with an audience. His history includes opening for GRAMMY Award-winning artist Jason Mraz and years of leading The Steve Raszka Band through clubs, theaters, festivals, and college stages.
The story began at Bowling Green State University, where Raszka attended on a baseball scholarship. Open mics and performances for friends grew into packed rooms and a touring band with a presence across the Midwest. Those years gave him the instincts of a working frontman: how to read a room, hold its attention, and make a song land beyond the edge of the stage.
Life eventually pulled him away from the road and toward family, fatherhood, and a career outside music. The songwriting stayed. Nearly two decades after My Life, his 2025 studio album Let’s Roll, Let’s Ride marked a return with more life behind the songs and a renewed drive to perform them. Raszka recorded, mixed, mastered, and produced the album in his home studio, bringing his work as a songwriter, musician, and producer into one deeply personal project.
Steve Raszka & the Revival carries that momentum onto the stage. This is a powerhouse band built around exceptional players and a shared command of the music. Guitarist Joel Greenberg has toured nationally, is a CCM Jazz Studies graduate, and co-owns Cincinnati Music Academy. Keyboardist Brian Batchelor-Glader, known as BBG, brings national and international touring experience, soulful organ, and wide-ranging piano work. Drummer Jeff Mellott, a Canopus Drums and SABIAN artist, adds the precision, feel, and dynamic range of an accomplished touring performer. Bassist Chris Barlow brings experience with numerous local and regional groups, anchoring the rhythm section with depth, drive, and a steady pocket.
Together, the Revival gives Steve’s country storytelling and soulful Americana muscle, movement, and room to breathe. Steve Raszka & The Revival (Live at Radio Artifact) captures that chemistry across eighteen tracks. His catalog also includes “Hide & Seek,” featuring Brian Hensien, released in May 2026.
Based in Ohio, Raszka performs with the full band Steve Raszka & the Revival, in an acoustic duo with BBG on keys, and solo acoustic. Each format draws on the same years of stage experience. For select shows, he creates his own concert visuals, extending his creative vision from the songs to the stage. The result is an artist-led show with seasoned musicianship, emotional weight, and the energy to meet the room.
